What we do?

Sports Rehabilitators and Osteopaths are Healthcare Professionals who specialise in the assessment, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those related to sports injuries. They work closely with athletes of all levels to aid in their recovery and enhance their performance.

Sports Rehabilitators focus on creating tailored rehabilitation programs for individuals, combining manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and personalised treatment plans. Their goal is to restore function, reduce pain, and improve the physical abilities of athletes. They also provide education and guidance on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and sports-specific conditioning to promote long-term health.

Osteopathy encompasses the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders, making it a comprehensive system for addressing various medical conditions. Osteopathic Practitioners recognise that an individual's overall well-being relies on the harmonious functioning of the skeleton, muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues.

Osteopaths employ a comprehensive approach to restore the body's balance and well-being, Central to their practice are mobilising and manipulative procedures, which utilise touch, physical manipulation, stretching, and massage. These techniques are skillfully applied to increase joint mobility, alleviate muscle tension, improve blood and nerve supply to tissues, and activate the body's natural healing mechanisms.

By taking a holistic approach, Osteopaths not only address immediate concerns but also delve into the underlying factors contributing to a patient's condition, fostering a comprehensive and personalised path to wellness.

Osteopaths, as highly trained Allied Health Professionals regulated by law and recognised by NHS England, are experts in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing the entire musculoskeletal system and its interconnectedness with other body systems. They are members of the professional standards authority along with Sports Rehabilitors.

Osteopaths are strictly regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and demonstrate their commitment to excellence by adhering to rigorous regulations and actively engaging in professional development.
